Overview

Since 2006, the Dockber Farm in Sawley, Lancashire, has hosted the Beat-Herder summer music festival. Breakbeat, dub, reggae, dubstep, techno, house, drum and bass, folk, dance-punk, and psychedelic rock are just a few of the musical styles represented at the event.

Location

Beat-Herder Festival takes place at Dockber Farm, Sawley, Lancashire, BB7 4LH.

Travelling By Car: the closest GPS postcode is BB7 4LH. Don't forget you need a car pass to park.

Travelling By Rail / Coach / Taxi: You can get a train to either Skipton or Clitheroe and arrange transport from there. From Skipton there is the 280 Stagecoach Bus. From Clitheroe taxi is probably your best option.

Tickets

Basic Price Range: £50 (Child 3 Day) - £250 (Adult 4 Day)

Tickets can be purchased through the Beat-Herder Website. Information about tickets can be found on the FAQs page, for example, information about under 18s, or what to do if you have an unwanted ticket.

Options include:

  • Adult - 4 or 3 Day Weekend
  • Youth (age 13-17) - 4 or 3 Day Weekend
  • Child (age 2-12) - 4 or 3 Day Weekend
  • Infant (Under 2) - 4 or 3 Day Weekend

Accommodation

Beat-Herder Festival is a camping festival, please bring your own equipment.

Campsite Options:

  • Glamping & Pre-pitched tents
  • There are no specific family camping areas, if you want a bit quieter head towards the furthest fields.
  • Caravans and Campervans: You'll need a special pass for these, add your requirements when buying your ticket.

Campsite Regulations:

  • The amount of Booze you can bring with you is restricted. See FAQ's for info.
  • NO Glass!
  • Complete ban on gas bottles being used inside any tents.
  • No pets!
  • No fires or BBQ's
