Overview

Sound City is an annual music festival and industry conference held in Liverpool, bringing together emerging artists, music fans, and professionals from across the UK and beyond. Best known as a launchpad for new talent, the festival centres on discovery, showcasing forward-thinking acts across Liverpool’s city-centre venues.

Alongside the live programme, Sound City hosts a music industry conference featuring talks, panels, and workshops focused on supporting artists, young people, and the wider music ecosystem. This combination of performances and discussion creates a festival that sits at the intersection of live music, learning, and industry connection.

Taking place across Liverpool’s walkable city centre, Sound City attracts audiences who enjoy seeing new artists, moving between venues, and engaging with the ideas shaping contemporary music culture.
