Overview

Teddy Rocks is a three-day family-friendly music and camping festival at Charisworth Farm near Blandford Forum. Its indoor and outdoor stages cover rock, pop, punk, folk and electronic music alongside comedy, spoken word and activities for children and adults.

The festival began as a small fundraising gig in 2011 and is largely delivered by volunteers. All festival profits go to partner cancer charities supporting children and their families, hospitals and research, with more than £1 million raised since its beginnings.

Location

Teddy Rocks takes place at Charisworth Farm, Blandford Forum, DT11 9AL. The rural greenfield site includes the festival arena and three camping areas, with some gently sloping grass sections.

The organiser recommends using its shuttle bus from Blandford town centre. Festival admission does not include parking, and walking to the site is discouraged because the surrounding country roads do not have pavements.

For rail travel, the organiser recommends travelling to Poole, continuing by bus to Blandford and then using the festival shuttle. Check the official travel page for current shuttle, public transport, parking and arrival information.

Important Ticket Information

Only purchase tickets through Ticketek links provided on the official Teddy Rocks website. The organiser does not have an authorised resale partner, and tickets bought through touts or secondary ticketing sites will not be admitted.

Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over, and children aged five and under still require a free ticket. Camping and arena-only tickets provide different access. Check the official terms before booking, including the current identification, refund and entry conditions.

Accommodation

Teddy Rocks offers on-site camping for weekend ticket holders, with visitors bringing their own equipment unless tent hire or glamping has been booked separately.

Arena-only ticket holders cannot enter the campsites. Each person staying in a live-in vehicle needs a weekend camping ticket, with one vehicle upgrade required per group; electric hook-ups are not available.

Accessibility

Teddy Rocks provides limited Blue Badge parking, a dedicated accessible campsite, accessible toilets, wet rooms and showers, a main-stage viewing platform, and an on-site accessibility team. Eligible visitors can apply for one free Personal Assistant or carer ticket.

Buggy assistance may be available, and the welfare team can store refrigerated medicine or specialist food. The festival takes place on a greenfield site which is largely flat but includes some sloping grass sections; poor weather may affect ground conditions.
