Overview

Lindisfarne Festival is an independent, adult-only music and creative arts festival held at Beal Farm on the Northumberland coast, overlooking Holy Island. Founded in 2015, it has grown into a multi-day end-of-summer event known for its vibrant atmosphere, playful spirit, and distinctive coastal setting.

The festival presents a wide-ranging programme of live music, comedy, spoken word, and late-night entertainment across eight uniquely themed stages. Alongside headline acts and emerging artists, Lindisfarne places equal emphasis on wellness spaces, immersive environments, food and drink, and a close-knit festival community. The result is a festival with a big personality, offering a weekend that blends celebration, escapism, and creative exploration by the sea.

Location

Lindisfarne Festival takes place at Beal Farm, Near Beal, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 2PB, a coastal site on the Northumberland mainland overlooking Holy Island (Lindisfarne). The festival is not located on Holy Island itself, but sits directly opposite the island with expansive views across the coast and causeway.

Travel Info

The nearest train station is Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is well connected by mainline rail services from cities including Newcastle, Edinburgh, and London.

Basic Price Range:  £110 - £170

Tickets to Lindisfarne Festival can be purchased from the festival's official Tickets Page.

Options include:

  • 3 Day Weekend Tickets (Thurs - Sun)
  • 2 Day Weekend Tickets (Fri - Sun)
  • Saturday Tickets (Saturday to Sunday, camping included)

Important Ticket Information

Accommodation

Lindisfarne Festival  is a camping festival, please bring your own equipment.

  • It can be windy due to the coastal location, so bring warm layers.

Dog-Friendly

You can bring your doggo without requiring a dog-ticket. Here are some basic regulations, more can be found on Lindisfarne's Info Q&A Page (under General Questions):

  • No dogs in the music marquees.
  • It's your responsibility to clean up after your doggo (of course!)
  • Be mindful that not everyone is as in love with your dog as you.
