Maid of Stone is a fan-led rock music festival held in Mote Park, Kent. Created by people deeply rooted in the rock scene, the festival focuses on atmosphere, community, and a close-up live music experience. The programme spans heavy, classic, melodic, blues, hard, alternative, and southern rock. Across two stages, the festival brings together established international artists, leading UK acts, and emerging bands, offering a well-balanced line-up that appeals to dedicated fans while remaining accessible to families and newer audiences.

If you are arriving by car, do not park in the leisure centre as you will be fined. When purchasing your festival tickets include a parking ticket, and on arrival follow the signs onto Mote Park's top field.

Maidstone West is the closest rail station to Mote Park.

Festival Venue

Mote Park is a large, landscaped public park on the edge of Maidstone, known for its open grassland, mature trees, and wide pathways. The festival site sits within a compact area of the park, with stages, arena, and camping zones located close together, making it easy to move between performances. The gently sloping terrain and established park facilities create a relaxed outdoor setting that works well for a small-scale, community-focused rock festival.
