The North East International Film Festival (NEIFF) is a vibrant celebration of filmmaking held annually in the North East of England. The festival spans three days and includes VIP networking events, free educational workshops, special screenings with Q&A sessions, and a prestigious awards ceremony. NEIFF's commitment to diversity is evident in its range of categories, including F-Rated Films, Best LGBTQ+, Best Student Film, and the unique VisABLE category representing disability in all its forms.

Location

North East International Film Festival utilizes various venues across Newcastle Upon Tyne and the surrounding area, including the eclectic Star & Shadow Cinema, the innovative Culture Lab, and the modern Everyman Cinema. The festival also extends its reach to nearby locations such as the Jam Jar Cinema in Whitley Bay, Gala Durham, and Showcase Cinema De Lux in Teesside. This diverse selection of venues allows the festival to showcase films in both intimate settings and larger, state-of-the-art screens, offering attendees a unique cinematic experience that captures the essence of the North East's thriving arts scene.
