Location
Tramlines Festival takes place at: Hillsborough Park, Penistone Road, Sheffield, S6 2AN.
Hillsborough Park is a large, tree-lined public park with flat open lawns, bordered by residential streets and close to local cafés, shops, and the Sheffield Wednesday football stadium. The festival builds multiple outdoor stages and food areas across the park, with clearly signed entrances and designated facilities.
The site is well connected by public transport. Hillsborough tram stop sits directly next to the park, offering frequent services to and from Sheffield city centre. Several bus routes also serve the area, and dedicated walking routes are signposted on festival days. Parking in the surrounding area is extremely limited, and the festival encourages visitors to arrive by tram, bus, or on foot.
For the latest travel information, see the festival’s Getting Here page, or check the FAQ section, which includes updates on transport, road closures, and site access.
