Equinox Festival is a grassroots celebration of music, community, and creativity held in the Lincolnshire countryside. Often described as the best end-of-season party, the festival brings together an eclectic crowd for a late-September weekend of sound systems, live bands, workshops, art installations, and late-night revelry.
Set across a multi-level open-air site, Equinox offers diverse stages, colourful decor, and true festival vibes. Parking: Vehicle passes must be purchased in advance. Cars cannot be parked in campsite fields.
Festival Venue
Equinox Festival is nestled in the Lincolnshire Wolds, at Chalk Farm farmstead. The site is defined by uneven terrain, gentle slopes, and natural drainage paths. Areas are multi-level, stages are spread across the site, expect grassy and potentially muddy ground, especially after rain. Please bring sturdy and weather-appropriate footwear. Accommodation
Equinox Festival is a camping festival, please bring your own equipment. Weekend festival camping is included in standard ticket packages, with entry available from either Thursday or Friday depending on your ticket type.
Campsite Options:
- Standard Tent Camping: Entry from Thursday or Friday depending on your ticket. Campsite access runs until midday Monday.
- Family Camping: Limited dedicated family zone at top of the field. First-come, first-served and no extra charge.
- Live-in Vehicle Camping: Spaces available for campervans, caravans, and live-ins—these require a separate vehicle pass purchased in advance.
Some Campsite Regulations:
- Dogs are permitted on site if you’ve purchased a dog ticket. Dogs must remain on leads at all times, and are discouraged from entering the main arena.
- No glass bottles are allowed anywhere on site—this includes the arena and campsite.
- No open fires or BBQs outside designated BBQ areas—fires are not permitted inside tents or cars.
Facilities:
- Chemical and compost toilets throughout the campsite and arena — cleaned regularly and well-maintained.
- No showers available on site.
- Free drinking water and recycling bins located across the festival site to support a leave-no-trace ethos.
