Overview
Maverick Festival (est. 2008) is the UK's first and finest Americana music festival. It is a celebration of roots music from both sides of the Atlantic, featuring over fifty artists performing across six stages, both indoors and outdoors. Set amongst restored Victorian barns and outbuildings, Maverick offers a diverse program of musical performances, dance demonstrations, and music masterclasses. The festival caters to all ages, with a relaxed atmosphere and a carefully curated selection of food and drink options. Accommodation
Camping at Maverick Festival offers a relaxed and immersive experience for festival-goers. The campsite provides ample space for attendees to spread out and enjoy the festival atmosphere. Visitors can choose from several accommodation options:
- Bring their own tent
- Book a pre-erected bell tent in Mint Meadow - booking via Magical Camping.
- Bring a campervan, caravan, or motorhome (with a separate pass)
- Local Accommodation if you don't feel like camping.
On-site facilities include portable toilets, plumbed toilet blocks, and hot showers. The campsite remains car-free for safety, with parking available in a nearby field. Volunteers are on hand to assist with transporting gear, and security patrols the site throughout the night. Maverick Festival welcomes both dogs (on leads) and children, creating a family-friendly environment for all attendees.

Accessibility
The Maverick Festival strives to provide a safe and accessible environment for all attendees. The main showgrounds feature paved areas and accessible toilets, ensuring ease of movement for visitors. However, please note that the campsite is located in a meadow, which may present challenges for some. Security staff patrol the campsite overnight, and emergency medical technicians are on duty 24/7 at the main entrance to the showgrounds.
