Overview
Wood Festival is a small, independent and family-friendly festival of music, creativity and nature at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire. Its programme combines grassroots music across two stages with talks and more than 50 workshops and activities for adults, children and teenagers.
Activities span crafts, making, movement, wellbeing and nature-based learning. The festival is powered by renewable energy and incorporates a solar-powered wooden stage, wood-fired showers and composting toilets as part of its practical approach to sustainability.

Location
Wood Festival takes place at Braziers Park, Ipsden, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 6AN, a rural parkland site in South Oxfordshire.
The festival uses a greenfield camping area within the wider parkland, with stages, workshops, camping and live-in vehicle areas on site. The ground is mostly flat, with grassy surfaces, some uneven areas and a slight incline in front of the main stage.
Travel
The X40 bus connects Braziers Park with Reading, Wallingford and Oxford, stopping around five minutes' walk from the festival site. Reading is the most practical rail connection for the onward bus journey, while cycle parking is available on site.

Important Ticket Information

Accessibility
Wood HQ has signed the Attitude is Everything Live Events Access Charter and has been awarded Bronze certification. Access varies between the festival's greenfield performance and activity spaces.
Getting around the site
- The festival is on a green field site with mostly flat ground and a slight incline in front of the main stage.
- The site is on chalk hills, so it drains well, but muddy conditions can still develop in places.
- There is no hard standing and no trackway across the site.
- Accessible camping is on flat ground, with the main stages and workshop village within about 150 metres.
Facilities & support
- Accessible parking is just inside the main entrance, close to the box office.
- There are two accessible toilet blocks, both fitted with Radar locks, with a spare key available at Festival HQ.
- A free personal assistant or companion ticket is available for eligible ticket holders, subject to advance application and supporting evidence.
- Festival stewards and staff at Festival HQ or the box office can help with access queries on site.
