Accessibility

Green Man Festival provides a dedicated accessibility page covering access tickets and passes, travel and arrival, campsite and arena facilities, site access, and alternate formats including easy read, audio and BSL information. Green Man Festival has been awarded Attitude is Everything’s Gold Charter for its work on accessibility. Access varies across the site because surfaces, gradients and viewing arrangements differ between camping, stages and other festival areas.

Getting around the site

  • Most of the site is on grass and can become very muddy in wet weather.
  • A tarmac road links key areas, with some hardstanding and trackway on routes to higher parts of the site.
  • Distances can be significant: the main stage is about 200m from the accessible campsite and all stages are within 650m.
  • Natural gradients can be a barrier for manual wheelchair users; a wheelchair-accessible golf buggy can be pre-booked for getting around.

Facilities and support

  • Accessible camping includes accessible toilets and showers, a Changing Places toilet, a respite tent, medication fridge, and a charging point for power chairs and mobility scooters.
  • Companion tickets are available at no extra cost for eligible disabled attendees, and accessible car park and live-in vehicle passes can be requested in advance.
  • Viewing platform wristbands can be requested in advance, with accessible toilets next to each platform and soft viewing areas in other parts of the festival.
  • BSL interpretation is provided for selected performances, with roaming interpreters available to book, and hearing loops are available in some venues and key information points.

For detailed and up-to-date accessibility information, view the festival accessibility page, or contact the organisers at accessibility@greenman.net.
