Home Of The Drum Festival is a grassroots music and community gathering. Set within the historic grounds of The Workhouse, Llanfyllin, Wales, the festival blends a love of rhythm, movement, and creativity through live music, workshops, and immersive experiences.

Expect a laid-back, inclusive atmosphere with camping, family-friendly activities, and a strong sense of co-creation. The festival focuses on percussion-led music, culture, and craft, offering an intimate alternative to larger commercial events.

  • Car park and campervan passes are limited and must be pre-booked.
  • Carpooling is strongly advised.
  • Coach travel may be available via Tuned in Travel, though users should verify availability directly.
  • If using the overflow car park, be aware there is a 15–20 minute walk to the festival site after drop-off.

Festival Venue

The Workhouse is a Grade II Listed building and community-run venue in the Welsh countryside. The grounds offer a mix of green open space, wooded areas, and gently sloping meadows, creating an intimate and rustic atmosphere ideal for a grassroots music festival. Accommodation

Home Of The Drum Festival  is a camping festival, please bring your own equipment.

Campsite Options:

  • General Camping – Standard pitch areas for tents; spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Glamping Packages – Pre-pitched bell tents with various comfort levels, including options for bedding and furnishings. Note: Glamping packages are sold separately from festival tickets. View Glamping Options.

Some Campsite Regulations:

  • Please do not bring excessive amounts of alcohol.
  • No cooking in enclosed spaces, e.g. your tent.
  • Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times.
  • No fires.
  • No large flags, kites, or sky lanterns.

Accessibility

Home Of The Drum Festival is committed to making their festival accessible for all.

  • Personal Assistant Tickets: Free of charge for attendees who require support. Requests must be submitted via info@homeofthedrum.com.
  • Accessible Parking: Stewards to guide attendees to the most suitable spot on arrival.
  • Terrain & Site Layout: The site is flat and consists mainly of grassy fields with some pathways. All festival areas are accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
