Parklife is a major metropolitan music festival held each summer in Manchester’s Heaton Park. Heaton Park is a large urban park in North Manchester with extensive open green spaces well suited to major outdoor events. The festival site uses multiple entrances across the park and has clearly marked routes for arriving on foot or by public transport.
Travel Info
The park is around five miles from Manchester city centre and is well connected by public transport, including the Metrolink Bury line and several bus routes. Road access is straightforward from the M60 ring road, though festival traffic controls are in place during the event.

Basic Price Range: £80 - £170

Accommodation
Parklife Festival is not a camping festival. All ticket types are for non-camping entry only, so attendees will need to arrange their own accommodation in or around Manchester.

Facilities and Entry Regulations
Parklife has strict entry and site regulations. For full details, see the festival’s General Information page. Key points include:
- Parklife is a 17+ event.
- No food, alcohol, or liquids of any kind may be brought into the festival. Empty plastic refillable bottles (up to 500 ml, non-metal) are permitted.
- Free water points are available across the site.
- Prohibited items include drugs (including nitrous oxide), knives and weapons, glass, aerosols, large bags or rucksacks, umbrellas (except small compact types), chairs or stools, bikes and scooters, flares or fireworks, drones, and professional camera equipment.
- All attendees are subject to a search on entry.
- Cashless festival: all bars, food traders, and merchandise accept card or mobile payments only.
- Bars operate a Challenge 21 policy. Valid ID is required if you look under 21.
Lockers
E-lockers are available on-site and can be pre-booked or hired on arrival. They use a PIN code (no key required) and provide unlimited access throughout the day.

Accessibility
Parklife provides a range of accessibility services and facilities to support visitors with additional needs. These include accessible viewing platforms, step-free routes in key areas, accessible toilets, and a dedicated Access Team on site.
Eligible attendees can apply for a free Personal Assistant (PA) ticket and may request additional support such as accessible parking, viewing platform passes, or medication storage. All accessibility requests must be made in advance.
Please note that Parklife is held on a large municipal parkland site, and ground conditions vary. Weather may affect ease of movement across grass and uneven surfaces.
