Overview
The Scottish International Storytelling Festival, anchored in Scotland's rich tradition of storytelling, stands as the world's premier event of its kind. Celebrating its theme "Right To Be Human" in 2023, the festival marks the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. From October 13th to 29th, participants will delve into tales that underscore human rights, health, and the planet's future. Storytellers, musicians, and artists will converge across Scotland, sharing narratives of courage and creativity. This festival not only offers a vast array of stories from global traditions but also features family events, workshops, and tours, making it a truly inclusive and expansive celebration.

Tickets for the Scottish International Storytelling Festival can be acquired through the official booking link. For those intending to immerse themselves in multiple events, the Festival Pass offers a cost-effective and enriching experience.
For families, the festival has curated a list of dedicated Family Events. In line with the festival's commitment to accessibility, tickets for each event are capped at £10, with family-centric events priced at just £5 per ticket.
Festival Pass
For avid festival-goers, the Storytelling Festival Pass is available at £20 (£10 concession). This pass provides a range of benefits, including:
- Discounted tickets for numerous live events at the Scottish Storytelling Centre (13-29 Oct), excluding live workshops.
- Reduced prices for many online festival workshops.
- A 10% discount at the Storytelling Centre Bookshop and the Haggis Box Café during SISF 2023.

Accommodation
