Splendour Festival is Nottingham’s largest summer music event, taking place in the picturesque grounds of Wollaton Hall & Deer Park. Festival Venue

Set against the backdrop of a 16th-century Elizabethan mansion, Wollaton Hall & Deer Park offers a picturesque and spacious setting for Splendour Festival. The parkland features lush grassy areas, mature trees, and gentle slopes, providing a classic summer festival atmosphere surrounded by nature. The grounds are well-kept but can become muddy in poor weather, so come prepared.

Accommodation

Splendour Festival is a not a camping festival — all attendees must arrange their own accommodation off-site.

There are a wide range of hotels, B&Bs, and university stays in and around Nottingham to suit different budgets. For great value and proximity to the site, the University of Nottingham offers rooms within walking distance of Wollaton Park. Book accommodation through Nottingham Venues.

It's recommended to book early, as rooms can fill up quickly during the festival weekend.

Facilities:

  • Free drinking water points available – bring a refillable bottle (non-glass)
  • Cash and card accepted, but card/contactless is recommended

Some Festival Regulations:

  • No alcohol, glass bottles, or BBQs allowed.
  • Sealed non-alcoholic drinks under 1L and empty refillable bottles permitted.
  • Picnics are allowed.
  • Small foldable chairs and blankets allowed in designated areas only.
  • Pop-up tents, gazebos, tables, or other obstructions are prohibited.

Accessibility

Splendour Festival  is committed to making their festival accessible for all.

  • Personal Assistant Tickets: Free PA tickets are available for eligible guests. To apply, complete the Accessibility Application Form via their Accessibility Page.
  • Accessible Viewing Platform: A raised viewing area is available for wheelchair users and those with mobility needs. Space is limited and must be pre-booked via the form.
  • Accessible Car Parking: Dedicated parking is available close to the main arena. A valid Blue Badge or equivalent is required, and spaces must be booked in advance.
  • Toilets: Accessible toilet facilities are located across the site.
  • Assistance Dogs: Registered assistance dogs are welcome on site.
