Festival Information
South East
Overview
Medicine Festival is a gathering of heart and spirit — a space for reconnection, healing, and transformation. Rooted in the intention to foster harmony between people and the planet, it weaves together indigenous wisdom, sacred ceremony, live music, workshops, and community dialogue. The festival invites a diverse constellation of voices — elders, changemakers, artists, and seekers — to come together in the spirit of unity, reciprocity, and reverence for the Earth.
As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, Medicine Festival channels all profits into initiatives that support indigenous communities and the protection of ancestral knowledge and sacred lands. It’s more than a festival — it’s a living prayer for a more beautiful, balanced, and interconnected world.
Location
Medicine Festival takes place at: Wasing Estate, Berkshire, RG7 4LY.
Set within the private grounds of the Wasing Estate — a 4,000-acre area of rolling countryside, ancient woodland, and freshwater lakes — the festival unfolds in one of Berkshire’s most serene and secluded natural environments. The estate offers a peaceful and immersive backdrop for deep connection with nature, aligning with the festival’s emphasis on healing, ceremony, and community.
Medicine Festival is centred around a main meadow area, with pathways that lead to woodland clearings, sacred fire circles, and lakeside spaces used for talks, workshops, rituals, and rest. The natural topography is generally gentle and walkable, though sturdy footwear is recommended.
Wasing Estate is a private venue and not normally open to the public, making this a rare opportunity to experience its unspoiled landscape. Respect for the land and Leave No Trace principles are core to the site’s stewardship during the event.
