Wychwood Festival is a family-friendly music festival known for its inclusive atmosphere and diverse program. The festival site is a mix of paved roads and grass, designed to be easily navigable for those with mobility aids and small children. All campsites are within a short walk of the main arena, and the compact festival village features flat paths ideal for wheelchairs and buggies. The accessible campsite is conveniently located just 100 metres from the festival village and features hard-standing pathways.

Accessibility

Wychwood Festival is dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible environment for everyone, continuously working to improve accessibility for deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent customers. The festival site at Cheltenham Racecourse features a mix of paved roads and grass, designed for easy navigation with mobility aids and buggies. Here's a summary of key access facilities:

  • Accessible Campsite: Located closest to the main arena (100m), reserved for accessible ticket holders.
  • Mobiloo: Specialist bathroom facilities.
  • Viewing Platform: A staffed viewing platform is available at the main stage.
  • Sensory Calm Space: A quiet space open daily from 10am-8pm for children and young people needing respite, supported by volunteers from Active Impact and the Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum.
  • Accessible Parking: Available with a valid blue badge.
  • Assistance Dogs: Welcome on site.
